I think, although a long time member, this is my first post here.
Over the past years, I was long looking for a new manufactured SE razor, as the only pieces that I have they're probably older than my father and myself (ages added together). I have to say, the last years l watched over the prices for new razors (in general) and I think think they're at least ridiculous, concerning low material price and machining method (automatized). Anyway, as my next birthday's coming closer, l decided to make the step. I choose to buy a SE razor, no matter the costs. For me, it's important that the overall length won't be like baseball bat-like, has to be sturdy and have some nice weight. Looking and searching I found the latest Occam model, the Hiram Commander (edit: with a little search you can find where you can pre-order it). I was fascinated from the grip design (remembers the Cobras) and the laser etched logo on the bottom (also a Cobra). Long say, short mean, I bought it (with PG-15 blades)! I have to wait, of course, as it is pre-order, but I think it will be a hit! I opened the thread here, in order to write later a presentation of the razor (or besides in case someone else is faster than me).
As the site says, it will be shipped later on November, so it won't be my birthday present anymore, but my Christmas present, until I receive it.. lol![Biggrin]( "Biggrin")
